Franklin Prescott Rolfe Papers, ca. 1903-1964

Franklin Prescott Rolfe (1902- ) was a professor and administrator at UCLA. He was a English professor (1932-70), chairman of the department, (1944-48), dean of the division of humanities (1947-61), and dean of the College of Letters and Science (1961-70), emeritus dean of the College of Letters and Science (1970), and academic assistant to the executive vice chancellor (1971). The collection consists of teaching materials, correspondence, rare bookdealers' lists and newspaper clippings.
